Thermojet - Wax Modeling for Investment Casting
Molten Wax is printed from a print head and deposited onto a platform in layers, these layers are then built up to form your model. This wax model can then be used for investment casting, where the wax is dipped in ceramic the part burnt out and the molten metal poured into the cavity.

Our build platform size is 250x190x200 mm.
We can also build larger waxes via the silicone tooling and vacuum casting method.

Why Use It
Speed - Wax models are created for the loss wax casting process, it is ideally used when small features are required and CNC machining is not a viable option. The waxes can be produced within 1-2 days with casting taking typically a further 4-5 days.

Accuracy - We can produce models at +/- 0.5mm.

What to Consider
Batch Production - If you require multiples of a wax.
